Diesel Vs Petrol Engine

Apart from make, model and colour ,Petrol Or Diesel............... that's one of the harderst choice to make whenever idea of buying a new car come across, there are muliple factor for decision making that are to be considered as far as choice of engine type is concerened i.e.  first time cost, smoothness of drive, pick up,durability,torque, life time cost( pertol is winner on first three) and many more(depends on how big a CAR-MANIAC you are?).

But the biggest indeed is cost (specially for a country like India)
